Toothbrush Fairies

Clowns Crying
Viewing the monument at the killing fields, one of hundreds of such fields in the country. Many of the skulls of the dead are stacked inside separated by age and gender. One shelf for females over 60, one for middle age, one for young adult, and one for child, one for infant females. Other racks were for male skulls. |

Open Grave
Over one hundred murdered Cambodian citizens were in this shallow open grave. They were headless. It is essentially a pit into which the bodies were thrown, the grave is one of many at the site. |

Crying Clowns
At the "killing fields" outside Phnom Penh, the guide picks up a baby tooth from the ground under the tree where many were brutally killed and thrown into a pile. All weeped, including the guide who lost many family members to the reign of the Red Khmer. |
